have set up a D-Link bluetooth dongle on my PC so I can sync between my T616 and Outlook. The contacts seem to sync fine, but when I try to send appointments they appear +5 hours off. For example, an Dentist apt. for Noon shows up as 5:00 PM instead of 12:00PM? I have narrowed it to being an outlook issue since

will probably also need an IR port on each to set up the initial Bluetooth link info. Otherwise how can you identify the unit you want to communicate with? 2 or three metal contacts. Touch them together. The songs could even be preloaded and all you need is a sync being sent by BT.

The stupid problem is in order to get to the activesync screen where you can select "allow serial cable or infrared connection to this COM port" which is I believe is required for the bluetooth sync to work, you have to have a device set up first, it just brings up the "get connected" screen when I attempt to go to

But I think if you have installed IBM Integrated Bluetooth III software, then I think you should be able to view the "My Bluetooth Places" via your Windows Explorer. Once you get My Bluetooth Places, I think you should be able to setup Bluetooth sync pretty easily. I sincerely hope this information helps you !
